Required skills:
- Detailed knowledge of high traffic, fault tolerant, 24x7 websites
- 2 years perl experience developing web-based systems running in a Unix environment
- Experience with developing web services applications
- Basic SQL, XML, mod_perl, and Apache application server knowledge
- Log parsing and basic data analysis
Required Personal Skills:
- Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills
- Strong initiative - capable of working on a self-sufficient basis and identifying areas of potential technical improvement
- Self-management - capable of prioritizing and executing tasks
- Problem solving - ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Desired skills:
- Expertise in: DBI and Template::Toolkit.
- Proficient Test Planning
- MVC implementation experience, Perl Catalyst Framework preferable.
